Corcovado is unquestionably the most raw, challenging and rewarding park in Costa Rica. The OSA Penninsula Costa Rica is a number one destination for nature, for plant diversity, for birds, mammals, amphibians, reptiles and freshwater fish. The rainforest canopy reaches higher than anywhere in the country due to the abundant rainfall and low altitude.

This wonderful preserve is home to 500 species if trees, 285 birds, 139 mammals, 115 amphibiams and retiles, and 16 freshwater fish.
